The streetlights reflect off this barren road, this winters colder than the last. A restless mind can make these nights to take a lifetime to pass. A lost cause in a stubborn kid, on my way to another dead end. But I'm watching the clouds come and go, there threatening for a long walk home. I'm pushing against a mold they've set. Down but not giving in. With each step I can't take back has lend me to where I am. And street by street it's harder to see exactly where I'm going. My mind wanders as my feet take the way, is this all I got left? For everything lost and everything gained an accumulation of me. I'm pushing against a mold they've set. Down but not giving in. I hear there whispers and my own self doubts in the back of my mind, it's clearer now. I'm torn between this untraveled road and a life chosen for me.
